AT-HOME LEARNING/HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS:
· Math: See homework grid on back of newsletter
· Spelling: See home work grid on back of newsletter
· Bag Book Reading: We will meet at least four times per week.
· Read every night for at least 15 minutes, record your book titles in your agenda.
FOCUS FOR THIS WEEK:
Language Arts: Read “Ronald Morgan Goes to Bat”
Vocabulary from text: you’re, second, great, either, laugh, certainly, worst
Word Wall Words: them, then, great, hold, how
Math: Identify and count coins. Review the skills from week 3 and 4 and assess student’s knowledge.
Writing: Complete Diamante and Acrostic Poems and Begin working on writing complete sentences
Science/Social Studies: Neighborhoods Today and Neighborhoods Long ago

NEWS, NOTES, and REMINDERS:
- Please be sure to SIGN your child’s homework grid and behavior tracker/calendar each night! This lets us know that you are aware of your child’s homework assignments and behavior in class.
- Make sure that any books your child reads are written down on their reading log and sign their reading log.
