PTO MEETING FOR DECEMBER 7th, 2010 CANCELED!
AT-HOME LEARNING/HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS:
· Math: See homework grid on back of newsletter
· Spelling: See home work grid on back of newsletter
· Bag Book Reading: We will meet at least three times per week.
· Read every night for at least 15 minutes; record your book titles in your agenda.
FOCUS FOR THIS WEEK:
Language Arts: One Dark Night
Vocabulary from text: pours, lighting, thunder, storm, flashes, pounds, rolling, stray, nudging, brooding
Word Wall Words: could, car, carry, caught, city, crashes
Math: Review fraction, mark the number on the number line and review for tests on week 13, 15 and 16 skills.
Writing: Compare and Contrast
Science/Social Studies: Holidays Around the World

NEWS, NOTES, and REMINDERS:
- Please be sure to SIGN your child’s homework grid and behavior tracker/calendar each night! This lets us know that you are aware of your child’s homework assignments and behavior in class.
- Make sure that any books your child reads are written down on their reading log and sign their reading log.
