AT-HOME LEARNING/HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS:
· Math: See homework grid on back of newsletter
· Spelling: See home work grid on back of newsletter
· Bag Book Reading: We will meet at least three times per week.
· Read every night for at least 15 minutes; record your book titles in your agenda.
FOCUS FOR THIS WEEK:
Language Arts: “Rosa and Blanca”
Vocabulary from text: tortillas, luckiest, chilies
Word Wall Words: altogether, become, became, careful, cannot
Math: Create and solve problems using strategies such as modeling, composing and decomposing quantities, using doubles, and making tens and hundreds.
Writing: Singular and plural nouns of regular nouns
Science/Social Studies: Complete Unit 1 – chapter 2 and begin unit 2 – chapter 3

NEWS, NOTES, and REMINDERS:
- Please be sure to SIGN your child’s homework grid and behavior tracker/calendar each night! This lets us know that you are aware of your child’s homework assignments and behavior in class.
- Make sure that any books your child reads are written down on their reading log and sign their reading log.
